Re-Ordering of St Andrew's Church

From the LCG at St Andrew's (Local Church Group)

At our last meeting we discussed the previously proposed re-ordering of the interior of St Andrew's and have decided that now is the time to revisit this and move forward with various options that will provide a much improved and up to date environment for our regular services, for the school, and for weddings, baptisms and funerals.
Prior to the Covid pandemic the then PCC discussed with the DAC (Diocesan Advisory Council) about the re-ordering of the chancel and sanctuary area of the church.  A proposal was agreed and after engaging an architect (Nick Carey Thomas) who is a member of the DAC, plans and a specification of works were provided. This then enabled the PCC to apply for the appropriate Faculty from the Diocese.
Unfortunately this was put on hold because of the pandemic. and also that we went into an interregnum when Canon Ed Pruen retired early.

Please look at the attachments to see computer generated pictures done by Canon Ed Pruen (not to scale) also there are some pictures of recent changes at St Mary's Bentworth and a video of St Peter's Church in Wrecclesham Farnham. Please disregard the Red Carpet.
